To qualify for membership, you must agree to the By-Laws and meet at least one of the following
requirements:
- Citizens of a Scandinavian country
(Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway & Sweden);
- Persons born in Scandinavia;
- Persons who have at least one Scandinavian born
parent, grandparent or great-grandparent;
- Persons who have lived in Scandinavia for at
least six (6) months;
- Persons who speak one of the Scandinavian
languages; or
- the spouse of a member
Annual dues are $35 for a single person and $50 for families. Dues are
paid in advance. Memberships expire December 31st or
June 30th, whichever comes later. A family membership includes you,
your spouse, and children under 18 years of age.
If you are not obviously Scandinavian, expect to be contacted by a YSC
official to discuss your qualifications.
