Clear Lake Kids Olympics July 16-18, 2010 Clear Lake Summer CabinJannet and Mark Benz will once again lead the annual Kid Olympics at the Clear Lake Cabin. YSC ‘Olympians’ of all ages will enjoy two days of summer fun and games, races and events, and of course wonderful weather, great food and entertainment!
This is a family weekend with some additional fun aspects. After lunch on Saturday there will be a brief ‘Opening Ceremony’ with Olympic music and athlete's parade.
Returning again this year will be the wildly popular kids' events, like: watermelon and cream pie eating, deck jumping, and newer fun events like the Cheeto toss. Traditional favorites you can expect are: waterballon toss, swimming races after pie eating, hula hooping, knee/wakeboarding, egg/spoon relays and three legged races. Alleged adults can participate in their own watermelon feed. There are also are events for kids as young as 2 years old, depending on attendance.
Dinner features summer BBQ classics: ribs, chicken, corn, and ice cream sundaes and berries. Following dinner you boogie down to ‘80s disco music, and maybe a movie.
