Peter Aspoy is this weeks Cabin Master. About 10 years ago Peter “ruled” the cabin three seasons in a row and established a reputation for serving delicious food. His “Fiesta” themed weekends were a must go-to event and he plans to apply his experience Absolutely.
This means the menu will be mostly Mexican, prepared expertly by Peter and his crew.
Lunch will be BBQ chicken sandwiches with green chili and pepper jack cheese and salad and tortilla chips, and for dinner we will have marinated carne asada skirt steak, with grilled green onions, BBQ corn in the husk that has been marinated in rock salt and water over night. Of course guacamole, salsa and tortillas will be served for Peter’s famous happy hour with margaritas (please BYOB tequila).

This event is open to YSC members and their guests only.

Reservations: Reservations are required for this event. Make your reservation during the week of the event. Reserve online, or call (530) 473-5488 between 7:00pm and 9:30pm on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS ONLY.

What to Bring: You'll need a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, swimsuit, sunscreen. Evenings are occassionally cool, so be prepared. Mattresses are provided. Sleep under the stars, or bring a small tent (tent space is limited). For more info, please visit the Clear Lake web pages.
