We'll start out the day with a loop hike starting from our house through Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. The hike is medium level, going down about 1000ft, winding though canyons and 1000ft back up to the ridge with a view of the Pacific. It's 7.5mi long and takes about 3 hours + lunch. The hike is mostly in the shade of redwoods, though we do hike through some open areas.
We will start the BBQ at about 3pm in our backyard. Please sign up for the BBQ by noon Friday, so we have a chance to shop accordingly. This event is open to both YSC members and
non-members. Reservations: Reservations are required for this event. You only need to signup if you are coming for the BBQ, hike is open to all.
