The Residence is the newest bar to hit the Castro/Upper Market area at the former home of Amber. A cozy-chic bar, which combines classic cocktails with alluring decor. The mix resembles the home of the owner who has been to New Orleans, Argentina, and Tokyo — in the last year.

Happy hour specials include $3 well drinks and $4 pints from 6pm to 8pm. Reasonably priced special cocktails are available as well. For hungry patrons the bar offers free snacks, or bring in pizza from across the street or Vietnamese food from next door. Post happy hour options are plenty in the neighborhood.
